Hi all,
My power sounder is occasionally beeping after I remove the ignition key - it only tends to happen in the mornings, after my 15 mile drive to work (and not every day). I've read plenty of great articles on this forum as to problems with the batteries, or water getting in to the sounder under the scuttle plate - my question is, what do the different number of beeps mean? Most often I get 4 beeps, but twice I had 6, and today I only had 3! Are they error codes meaning different things, or is my hearing just playing tricks with me so early in the morning!
Thanks in advance.

it means your powersounder batteries are dying.
some have had luck replacing batteries
some have replaced the whole powersounder
most just disconnect it and live without it :y
it lives under the scuttle top left hand corner of engine bay.

Cheers.... looks like a trip to the local scrappies & a couple of hours with the soldering iron :y

If you catch it before the batteries leak on the PCB you can rescue them with new batteries if you are handy with a soldering iron. :y
