Got a starting problem. See 'starter motor or ignition barrel' yesterday at 15.45 in general help. It has been suggested that the starter relay may be at fault. Can anybody tell me where this is located on my 2.5td omega b? I can hear it clicking on the passenger side somewhere.

Clicking sound appears to be coming from behind the dash on passenger side. I suppose this sound could be coming from the starter motor. If so, is this a part I can replace or am I looking at a new starter?

Sorry for my bad english, didn't know the word "integral".
Do I have to take the starter out or can I just change the relay? Because there's so little space in the engine compartment, I wasn't able to find the relay near the starter with just touching.

It is part of main starter. You will need to remove starter from car.

I don't want to contradict a moderator but here goes.....
The V6 petrol has a pre-engaged starter with a solenoid (like a big relay) on the side. The solenoid is used to engage the starter gear with the ring gear on the flywheel. Once the gear is engaged it also closes some big contacts & 150 Amps flow through the starter motor. The solenoid takes too much current for the ignition switch to cope so there has to be a additional relay to switch the current.
(If BMW use a starter motor with this relay on the side then I am wrong & the boy is right ::) )
There is a bank of relays behind the glove box. The immobiliser relay on pre-facelift cars is there, the starter relay may also be there.
I saw them a couple of days ago when I had my glove box out, you should be able to get to them by taking out the cardboard cover in the passenger footwell but you will need a mirror to see them.
Integral = Inside or part of a larger unit (ie inside the starter motor or fixed to it)

By Autodata in "Fuse box/relay plate, engine bay 1" is a "starter motor inhibitor switch relay". What's the purpose of that relay?

Just a guess (dangerous) it might be connected to the gear selector on an auto to inhibit the starter unless Park or Neutral are selected.
I don't think Beserkerboy has told us if his is auto or manual.

The TD does not have a seperate relay!!!!
There is a connection straight from ign switch to starter solenoid.

I'm going to take my starter off and gonna try to clean the relay connectors and check the cables from the battery. Is it enough or should I just buy a new one? What is the price range for a new relay?

Check the engine earths.
Not sure started solenoid available on its own in UK, not sure abroad, sorry
