Title: CAR300 Code
Post by: Boiler Man on 28 September 2009, 18:45:18
Hi Guys

Wondered if someone could help me please.

I'm trying to put the code into my old CAR300 Radio.

I've done it plenty of times in the past no probs. But I'm struggling this time with the code.

On my Car Pass there appears to be two codes.

On line 2 next to Security Code a 4 digit number i.e. ****
and line 5 below I have a title Radio Type/Code or i.e. 0500 / ****

Can anyone tell me which I use as I've had 3 knockbacks already and I'm getting nervious. :o

Cheers

Just put the code in my dads astra a few mins ago, and the bit I’ve highlighted is the code which I used.

However, does you radio type say 0500? I thought it would say 0300 if its a CAR300 radio?? :-?

Thanks for the quick response.
Yes it does say 0500/****

Do you think this is wrong?

That code is for a cdr500.  As stated, a CAR300 code will be 0300/xxxx
