Very annoying! only got radio to listen
i can hear the cd changer turn around but after 4 tries on the 4 cds it returns a NO CD message
any help would be grateful :)

Lasers' fubared. Try and find a replacement. Normally caused by playing copied CD's.

CD-R's tend to naker them, pop a PM to Dave DND, he might be able to service it for you :y

If the reader/player was built properly to start with, inability to read a disc should not result in early demise.

Does sound like laser is dead - and this will almost certainly have been caused by playing CDr`s -
Rather than getting into a lengthy discussion as to why this is, check back through previous posts as it is EXCEPTIONALLY well documented.
Bad news is that Philips are no more, and I am unable to assist with a replacement laser - some people out there use pattern parts for repair, but we don`t - sorry.
