Title: CD changer not reading any CDs

Very annoying! only got radio to listen

i can hear the cd changer turn around but after 4 tries on the 4 cds it returns a NO CD message

any help would be grateful :)

Lasers' fubared. Try and find a replacement. Normally caused by playing copied CD's.

CD-R's tend to naker them, pop a PM to Dave DND, he might be able to service it for you  :y

If the reader/player was built properly to start with, inability to read a disc should not result in early demise.

try getting one of those lens cleaning discs matey

ok i'll msg dave, heard all i need is the cd changer and not the whole lot because they are just 2 units bolted together

i have been playing copies because my orignals usually get scruffed in my car

Does sound like laser is dead - and this will almost certainly have been caused by playing CDr`s -

Rather than getting into a lengthy discussion as to why this is, check back through previous posts as it is EXCEPTIONALLY well documented.

Bad news is that Philips are no more, and I am unable to assist with a  replacement laser - some people out there use pattern parts for repair, but we don`t - sorry.
