Nope, no pre-outs on that one.
Howwever, if you wanted to use an amp, you could always try one of these

does that use the speaker leads dave ???? used to have a kenwood cd head unit used the rca out puts upto the amp bridge one side to run my 2 pyle 500 w rms subs and the other side was to run to the 2 x-overs in the doors for the mids and tweeters, would this do the same
-
This will give you front and rear pre-outs from the speaker outputs. How you connect the amps is really up to you, but if I understand correctly, the answer is Yes, this should do the same.
If you only want to amp the rear, I could also supply a similar lead with only rear RCA`s on.

If you are looking to spend money on a new system you should seriously consider fitting a Bose system from one of the breakers on OOF. It won't allow you to play MP3's but for something IRO £75 you will get a cracking sound.
There is plenty of help on here as to what you would need to do.
Also, when you have the door cards off you could easily fit the door kerb lights - I know that as I did it to my MV6 once, the 2 wires are there ready to plug in behind the door cards, all you need is the holes cutting, the lights x 4 and Elite lower front door pockets - of which I just so happen to have a set! ;) ;) ;)

Fit BOSE ? Thats the last time I help you then >:(
Shame on you for suggesting such a thing :P

Why ?? I thought we liked Bose?
BTW, I've got a new centre console - hybrid wood effect with manual controls. Wo'nt be fitting it for a week or so and will then put the "new" 800 in which you helped me on.
Have deffo not forgotten, just have so much to do to "finish" the car and time slips away ,,,,,,,,

Dave DND likes Bose like I like Sony ;D
To be honest though, if you want to retain the factory fit look, Bose is the best sound you will get from the car.
To me, Bose is more than good enough, particularly at modest volume levels, and allows me to retain the Vauxhall headunits, complete with satnav/phone functionality.
-
Sorry Dave - I didn't know - Honest.
To me the appeal is that it's "original" and also good value these days ....
Pics to follow soon as poss

Agree TB, 100%. I also think that anything that looks non-standard is also saying steal me to the tea-leaves out there ..

I like my factory fit look... (even if its not strictly Omega Factory Fit)

Cool :y

i like Bose too, has a nice round full sound, and it factory fit look. I'll upgrade mine if i get the chance / bother factor ;D
-
But you can still retain the factory look by simply changing the speakers behind the door cards
The doors will still look like they always did, and the sound quality can be vastly superior to the Bose system. You can even add subs under the seats to keep them out of sight
There really is so much you can do instead :)

I spent a good few years as an MTX dealer, and although I cannot fault the products, if I had approaching £8K to spend on a subwoofer, it would not be spent with MTX. If building a show car with that sort of budget in mind, you need to decide very carefully where you are going with it.
Are you building it for looks, in which case there are many subs that look similar to the jackhammer for a fraction of the price, or are you building it for performance, in which case there are significantly better.
Forget the hyped up TV claims of pimp my ride and other US brands - anything will look and sound good with £100K pumped into it
