Title: Cruise on 2.2

Been reading various threads on cruise control stalks but not really got an answer.
What do I need to get CC on a 03 plate 2.2 petrol engined Omega.
When I added it to my TD if was just a case of getting the correct stalk and swopping it over, and away I went.
Is it that easy on the petrol 2.2 or will I have to have it enabled etc.

If its an 2.2 auto, just the 2 connector stalk and 20 secs on tech2 to confirm it is fitted.

Did mine in 5 minutes, all in-easy!!  Stalk was £23.49 plus p+p on ebay and worked perfectly after tech2 was used to activate the option.

Check item no. 9181011 on ebay; identical and from same place as mine, arrived next day, highly recommended if you don't want to pay price for VX part.

Thanks for that, will check when I get my car next week then order.
Where will I get a tech 2 check?

A few members on here have got one-search tech2, or get done at Vauxhall garage if it is much nearer- I did  :y

Depends who you know  :y
Probably half hour labour-but you could ask for full fault code read, plus auto box/ECU update at same time  ;)

for 2.2, it has to be the 4 wire stalk, and see my sig for enabling....
