My 2003 elite is very nice but I am struggling without the hands free phone cradle and DAB/MP3 that I had got used to with my last car.
Does anyone have the pin-outs or wiring diagrams for the CCR2006 and the BOSE amplifier?
I removed the Blaupunkt DAB53 radio and the Nokia CK7W hands free bluetooth kit from my last car and kept them safe.
My options are (and I might need to do this in stages)
1. fit the CK7W kit & connect it to the CCR2006.
2. fit the CK7W kit and the Blaupunkt head unit & connect the line outs from the head unit to the BOSE amplifier.
3. remove the BOSE amplifier (& double the usable space in the boot ;)), remove the 2ohm speakers & loom and install 4ohm speakers with loom back to the Blaupunkt head unit
4. find and fit steering wheel control interface.
5. find a display interface. Unless there is something that talks to the Blaupunkt bus that goes to the CD boot changer then this probably isn't possible so I will need a tech2 session to re-educate the MID.
I think that just about covers everything........

1. fit the CK7W kit & connect it to the CCR2006.
Probably the easiest option, and others here should be able to advise on any impedance matching devices where needed.
2. fit the CK7W kit and the Blaupunkt head unit & connect the line outs from the head unit to the BOSE amplifier
Nope, don`t even contemplate going down this route
3. remove the BOSE amplifier (& double the usable space in the boot ), remove the 2ohm speakers & loom and install 4ohm speakers with loom back to the Blaupunkt head unit
My preferred option :y
4. find and fit steering wheel control interface
PC99-X44 + PC99-BLA both in my shop :y
5. find a display interface. Unless there is something that talks to the Blaupunkt bus that goes to the CD boot changer then this probably isn't possible so I will need a tech2 session to re-educate the MID.
Tech2 session called for then, as Blaupunkt will not support MID or VX Changer
Hope this helps ;)

With my DAB53 I took the speaker output and mute signal from the CK7W and fed it into the head unit and it just worked. Maybe I was lucky, there are two ways of connecting a phone to the DAB53 & maybe I picked the one with the 'right' impedance.
If impedance matching is a big problem I might just connect the mute initially and hang the Nokia speaker in the passenger footwell. I still need the pin outs though.

Not a big fan of BOSE then ;)
I have some speaker cable but I would need to source drive units and adapters. Do you stock anything suitable?
4. find and fit steering wheel control interface

Excellent. Can you PM me a price please.

Hope this helps ;)
Yes, very helpful. Thank You

Impedance matching may only be an issue with the CCR2006 /Bose combination, certainly not with the Blaupunkt

Speakers are no problems, just let me know the size you want, and No, not a fan of Bose.

Thanks for your advice so far Dave. Until I get round to finding out what size speakers will fit and either making or buying a speaker wiring loom to run to the head unit it looks like I am stuck with Bose.
Does anyone have experience of connecting a phone to the CCR2006 or perhaps wiring diagrams or pin outs?

Locate the phone pre-wiring tucked up behind the glovebox and get hold of an 06-109B Autolead (requires this version for the Bose) this will connect the CK-7W up with the minimum of fuss! :y

Excellent, thanks VXL V6.

Calling DaveDND
get hold of an 06-109B Autolead
Is this a lead that you can supply?
I can't find it on your website.

Thanks Dave. Lead arrived yesterday.
Had a lull at work this afternoon and the rain held off so I made a start at pulling the glove box and head unit out.
Glove box came out easily enough once I had found the extra screw behind the vent (I think it was added to the facelift, it wasn't there in my 1994 Omega). Connector was there ready as described.
Autolead plugged in OK & Nokia CK7W powered up and connected to my phone but not to the radio. Had a fiddle with the Autolead & managed to break the lever off the Vauxhall plug >:( after which the CK7W connected to the CCR2006 :y
Found that the microphone plug on the Autolead doesn't do anything for me in my car so I will have to install the Nokia microphone.
Got the CCR 2006 out (after a struggle) and then the cage (after a 1 hour struggle >:()
Managed to thread the handset lead through behind the radio cage before it got dark. I haven't managed to find the aerial lead yet :-/
I found this thread http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1199871634/all which makes the business about Bose a lot clearer to me.

Antenna connection is down behind the drivers kick plate.
VX sell a Nokia (FME) to standard Vx plug 'patch lead' for about £14. Autoleads do one too - part no PC5-104.

That has saved me a lot of dismantling. I was going to start by taking the kick plates off the door openings to trace the lead.
My eventual intention is install my DAB aerial in place of the GSM aerial so I think I will reuse my tax disk holder / GSM aerial for now.
