Am I correct in saying the outer adjuster is for the dipped beam and the inner is for full beam ?
The reason I ask is because both adjusters move the dipped beam up or down. I can set my dipped beam perfectly, but what I thought is the main beam just moves the dip again.
Where am I going wrong ? :-/

Incorrect..... one adjusts vertically, one adjusts horizontally :y

IIRC the outer one adjusts vertically and the inner one horizontally

Agreed. :)

That's what I was thinking after realising the main beam wasn't moving, but it appears both are moving the beam vertically. :-?
I'm using a headlight alignment unit at my mates garage. I'll check again. :y
How is the full beam adjusted ?
-
If memory serves the whole unit moves as one ... you only adjust for dipped, when that is set then main should be right

I don't think you can adjust it.
-
Ok, I'll try again. Cheers me deers :y

Just a quick check, pop one of the rubber covers off the back and see if the reflector moves a lot with your finger. If it does then your adjusters are fubarred hence the lack of adjustment.

I bl**dy hope not....they're brand new Depo units :y

I've got the n/s beam moving horizontally and vertically, but the o/s horizontal adjuster is just clicking as it is turned. The o/s vertical adjuster is ok. No movement when pushing the internals. I suspect/hope it's a case of it exceeding it's travel on the thread and just needs a helping hand whilst turning the adjuster to get it back on.
Looks like another strip down is on the cards. ::)

I found the inner adjusters are for height and outer adjusters for width.
Screwing the inner adjusters clockwise brought the beam down.
Worked for me! :y
