Chaps,
The wifes drivers seat seems to be seized up! I seem to remember I had this problem before but I just gave a bit of a shove and off it went again. This time it doesn't seem to want to budge. You can hear the motors clicking but no movement on any axis. If you press any of the Memory buttons again it tries but no movement. I guess they're fed via fuse shall I pull it to reset it? I seem to remember there is a mechanical way of adjusting them if all else fails, perhaps I could get it moving again with this? I should add that the wife is four foot nothing, hence the memory seats and I and my son are six footers. Our son was the last driver and I think he's gone right back with the seat which is why it's seized up. It did it to me when I was looking for the heated seat connector and wound it right back but I managed to get it moving by using a bit or horsepower to get it started!!
Thanks for any advice.

In between showers I've been out and had a fiddle. Initially the seat moved a fraction of an inch and then stopped! Again you could hear all the motors trying but no movement. Pulled the fuse (Fuse 5 IIRC) replaced, no difference. Tried the passenger seat just to prove it, that's ok. Went back to the drivers seat and lo and behold it worked. I'm wondering if it just needs a bit of lubrication on the runners and that there may be a current trip on the electronics?

Check the guide rails. Think I have seen posts were small coins have fallen down and got caught in the runners, then when the seat is moved it traps against the coin. Lift the height on the seat to check, it may be easier to see. :y
