Title: ccr2006 cd magazine problem

my ccr2006 wont accept cd magazine just wondered if it a problem with the magazine or radio ? i've only just got the car pass to get the code to get it up and running again

Common problem for the 4 disc changer to fail and either retain, jam or refuse to accept a cartridge - speares are fairly non-existant now, so its really a case of cannibalising a good unit for the changer mech. Should you manage to find one, we can advise then what is involved in the required transplant.

so its pritty knackered then and a working unit needs to be found to fix it  :-[ aftermarket may be the route to choose then ? maybe i'll look for a double din tv thingy  :-?

Any of the Vauxhall 4 disc combo units, or the 4 disc CDC3 from the glovebox of the Astra/Vectra will give the bits you need - plenty around, but you will need to search a bit.
