Hi can any one advise me wether it is posible to fit a cdx display into a gls[ both are 52 models] will it work?

Yes, but its not going to work well.
Displays are linked to the car in terms of spec, engine, transmission, tyre size, display would need to be programmed to the new car for it to be accurate with tech2.
But, GLS spec, will be missing a lot of the sensors, so your check control will go nuts.

Thanks! It might be easyer to repair my original gls display because its just some pixels that are missing.

I don't think there is much point in trying to repair the pixels in the LCD.
An LCD is created on a layer of glass with a series of electrical tracks on the surface of gold one molecule thick to allow electrical connections to the individual cells while remaining transparent. The normal mode of failure is for the gold tracks to wear or corrode away.
Once an electrical track is damaged there isn't really a way of replacing it.
I think that the displays can be configured using Tech 2 to turn features on and off.
Assuming that the connectors are the same I think you should be able to fit the display from a cdx and get it configured to behave like a GLS display. If I am wrong someone who knows Tech 2 (The Boy, Kevin Wood, Hotel 21 etc) should be along to say it cannot be done ............

Err, Im a bit vague on that issue :-/ how big is a gold atom exactly?..........

Err, Im a bit vague on that issue :-/ how big is a gold atom exactly?..........
Depends on the size and amount of molecules I suppose :D and the thickness would depend on how many microns ;D
