I went over a speed bump a little to fast today and now when I reverse the parking sensor warning sound is on constantly; can someone please tell me where I should kick the car to fix it! :)

Mine did the same a few weeks ago - wiring problem still not traced - so it is currently disconnected from control unit

It appears that no one has taken this seriously, which is my own fault :P However, I would appreciate any advice that might help me correct this?
Thanks :)

If you have factory fitted parking sensors I think the control box is up in the nearside rear wing in front of the spare wheel.
I would start by checking that it (or the wires to it) didn't get bashed by the spare wheel. After that you need to check for damaged/loose/corroded wires to the sensors in the bumper.

My sensor and control unit were tested and found ok - so wiring fault is assumed which I have not corrected. Therefore have disconnected to prevent constant sound when in reverse.
If you can get someone to test the components to rule out their failure then that is first step. It might be you have a faulty comonent - I do not and it would still make noise if I had not disconnected.
