I sometimes get the message 'low beam/vision fault - check' flash up. I thought it was something to do with the xenons but it does it even without the lights being on. Ive checked them anyway and all seems fine.
Any ideas?

Front n/s wishbone and rear n/s trailing arm lives the two level sensors for the HID`s, check that the control arms are still attached

This device described above will look something like this:

This is in fact a view of a new style sensor introduced by Vx, but the old style is very similiar (and a lot cheaper!!), with both having the arm that needs to be connected to wish bone mounting.

Thanks guys. I've had a look and my front one Inc the black box is wrapped in half a dozen tie wraps and doesn't seem connected to anything. Will have a proper look next weekend when it's not raining

SWMBO had another car written off by a 3rd party before the last car which was written off :-? and it stood in a compound at Trafford Park for weeks - getting further damaged - before anyone came to a decision. Things only happened when I contacted our insurance & told them I was taking the car back. It taught me that if a company want to see & inspect a damaged car for insurance purposes, then they come to me, which is what happened after her Astra was crashed into. It did mean that if I'd wanted to swap anything from her car to my Astra I could have done ....... if I'd wanted to ::) ::) ::) ::)
