In the past i have changed the little illumination bulb in the dash switches in a vec b.Can you change the ones in a preface mig(dash switches). :y

Yep iirc they are soldered in arent they lee,also will the heated seat switches from the preface cdx fit in the back of a facelift elite. :y

I can honestly say I've never been in the back of a mig so no idea ;D ;D

Quite stupid though really being soldered as its a bulb and bulbs often blow. ::)

It's so a 'trained Vx mechanic' can suck air over his teeth and charge you for a new switch nstead of a bulb ;D ;D

And this switch is 38€ + Tax, so 46€ by Opel here in Belgium...

NO. The front seat switches are proper switches & take the full load current (bout 5amps). The rears are used to control relays so that the seats cant be left switched on & reset themselves each time the ignition is switched off.
In short they are a different part. Sorry about that
