Title: Bee Stimg Aerial
Post by: batmobile on 14 February 2010, 18:22:46
Am I correct that the bee sting aerial on the roof of an estate is for the phone and the rear window (tailgate) has the radio antenna?

No, the aerial is for the radio unless it has a factory fitted phone kit in which case its a different aerial having both in one and 2 cables running away from it.

rear screen wrong angle on estate to use as an aerial, Elites have a large base to the aerial to house GPS, lower spec's have a much smaller base.

How do you access the aerial, is it the roof lining out?

Open the tailgate, remove the plastic trim at the top, and you can gently pull the roof lining down enough to get some small hands in there - don`t pull too far or you will crease it.
