hello would anyone know if there is a way to wire my tom tom charger so i dont have to plug it into the ciggerette lighter cheers ajn

Its 5v from memory, to in reality you will have to wire it as now, but hiding it behind dash, and fitting a ciggy lighter behind dash as well
-
However, I would strongly recommend AGAINST permenently wiring portable satnavs, as its too much for a scotebag to resist...

If you are going to hardwire it... Make sure you hide all the wiring :y :y
I did it in a previous car for my Ipaq Phone and GPS receiver... The wires popped up by the windscreen and A pillar and were virtually invisible :y :y
Bought a wired twin socket, cut off the plug and connected to the back of the socket permanently ;) ;)

Now that's excellent - very neat and tidy. :y
I'd finish it off by hard-wiring it so there's no fag lighter plug. 8-)
