If the CD is in use when you trn off the ignition, then it will go to CD safe next time you start the car >:(

Hmmm, assuming you have codes, pull the radio out for an hour...
-

Tis a strange one lol.
Will give that a go sometime.

yup, those ccrt700s do appear to regularly get in a state....

I`d pull the changer at the same time - reset them both

No harm in doing that as will, its only 1 bolt (7mm ?) that retains it :y

You're missing a bolt, smack bang in middle of cage. Not really needed :)

If you drop the flap bit to reveal the cubby hole, you should see the hole in the side of the cage :y
Should be obvious if you check :y If not obvious, lift the changer out, you should see threaded hole (bolt goes through cage, thread is in changer itself).

Just braved the icey weather. Found it. :y Quite obvious when you're looking for it. It's never been fitted while I've had the car. :y :y :y

Same here, but still icey. I'd have to scrape the car if I was going to work. ;)

Very rare to find the bolt fitted !!
And for the record, its bright blue sky and 1 degree here -
But I`m still not allowed to go out to play yet, even if I wanted to.

Thanks mate !
Everything went well, but recovery may take a lot longer than I envisaged - still hurts a lot.
But very good to be back though :)
