Hey All.
Just got myself a 98 V6 CDX Saloon, I have 2 obvious electrical faults,
Firstly the Airbag warning light stays on.
Secondly the Horn does not work.
Can anyone advise where I start looking to fix these faults. I am quite handy at electrics but it helps to know where to start!
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Cheers [smiley=beer.gif]

need codes read for airbag. see me sig if you are near brackley, nottingham, hampshire or edinburgh

horn is a simple fault finding method - check first for power to horn when button pressed

Thanks, horn should be easy to fix then. I am in Hungerford, not too far from Hampshire so will look at getting Airbag warning sorted soon.
Thanks Again

Pop the steering cowel off and check that the plug is all the way home on the black spinner directly behind the steering wheel.

Worth checking, particularly if the horn proves to be related to switch.
**May** still need tech2 to turn the light off though :'(

Looks like the mystery of the airbag warning light has been solved. Whilst cleaning the car I noticed that the drivers side seat airbag cover was glued on, and inside the airbag has been cut away.
Are they easy to replace? there are a couple on ebay from newer model Omegas (mine is a '98) are they the same for all models?
Cheers
