my omega 2000 V facelift is displaying the "cdc safe" message but from what I can gather it should still spit the cd cassette out when asked too, problem is mine does not so am wondering if their is another fault as well. anyone any idea if these units are still available exchange from vauxhall and for how much.

You can check out fleaBay, or check the parts for sale section. Sure someone must haveone floating round!
just make sure you get the codes though, as Vx rip you off!! :y

By the sound of it you may also have a jammed mech as well as the CDC-SAFE error

I have been looking on the bay for one but a lot of vendors don't seem to know if there's is compatible with the bose set up in my motor

thats what I was thinking which is why I have not sent it to yourself for decoding, any idea on repair cost or would it be best to source another
edit : are all ccr2006 sets the same or is there a bose version?

BOSE is configured using Tech2, but be aware that not all CCR2006`s are capable of being configured to BOSE.
Happy to take a look at unit for repair, but spares are now non-existant

so I guess my safest bet is a set from an elite with bose.perhaps when I can bear the hole in the dash I will send the unit up to you to see what you think.
thanks for the help
