anything is possible mate but depends on how much work you want to do

i would think in this case far to much involved
need loads and loads of mods to be worth the effort
just stick with what you have or change cars

The wiring is not the problem, you need climate control unit, climate condenser, hoses, valves etc.
Simply too big a job

I looked into it once on a VW, thinking that if aircon was already there, then half the work had already been done -

how wrong I was.

Major job for that one and probably similar for the Omega. I reckoned in the end that it was probably easier to retro fit to a vehicle without air, than to try and modify / refit climate to one that had a standard version of air.

Not worth the bother either, IMHO. You have to fiddle with the climate control just as much to stay comfortable - IME. Maybe it's me? ::)

I guess ... :)

Mine is set at 23, hers at 25, and hardly ever gets touched. Might have to put a quick blast of demist first thing, but other than that it does what it's supposed to .. IMHO .. :)

I agree absolutely.

[rant on]
My 1994 CD with Tonka Toy control knobs required very little fiddling to get comfortable.

My 2003 Elite with climate is a pain. Each time the outside temperature changes the climate control moves the inside temperature the other way. When it's cold outside I boil, when it's hot outside I freeze. When the sun hits the solar sensor it gets colder still.

The temperature settings are in one degree steps and I often find that one setting (say 20) blows hot and a lower setting (19) blows cold when I just want a neutral supply of air.
