Title: SAFE mode on my radio

Hi there i`ve just bought my 2.5 ELITE and radio comes in SAFE mode i have original code but i dont know how to type it. Please help, a friend have same car  and i know that original sound system BOSE with CD-changer is good. Many thanks!!!

what year is your Elite and what head unit does it have?

Philips BOSE cassette player with CD changer. R reg 97year i have code from manufacturer but still nothing, try to remove battery and try again but noting - not works.... :(

Does it have an inbuilt phone? CCRT700

You'll need 2 codes one for the head unit & one for the CD changer. :y

Philips BOSE will be ccr800.

2 seperate, different codes needed, one for radio, one for cd.

For radio...
Ign ON, radio off (IMPORTANT!!)
Press and hold AS, turn radio on, release AS after beep
using 1 2 3 4 buttons enter the code
Press and hold AS until beep to submit code


For CD, as above but use 0 button (right of cassette slot) instead of AS.

Thanks for your help guys i`ll test it tomorrow, hope it works, my car is still uninsured I waiting for my no claim bonus documents from bulgaria, so i keep it on the parking far from home. (don`t want pay 989 pounds for insurance myomega is cheaper than this)
P.P. Did you know is that mtekperformance chip reasonable to install?
