Hello, and happy Easter to all !
Just got a very nice set of leather seats from an elite!  my 2.5td has electric height adjustment driver side only whereas with the new seats both pas and driver side have two electric switch's on each!!!!
the old cloth front seats are still fitted and there are wires feeding into both! in any case i would like to have control of new seats how does one make this possible????????????????????????????????????????????????

whatever you do ... do NOT turn the ignition on with the airbags unplugged .. this will cause the airbag light to come on and needs a tech2 to reset. Also, disconnect the battery before working near the airbags .. and leave it 30 minutes between disconnecting and working .... just to be safe .. an airbag going off in your face could be dangerous !!

If you have electric adjusting seats don't disconnect any electrics until you have undone all 4 bolts that hold the seats to the floor ... you need to move the seats to get access to the bolts.

Think thats about it ..  other than to say the seats are heavy !!!

Yes, heavy buggers they are!   Made 'o' good stuff!  i hope.
On my fuseboard the the rating for seats is 20amp!
Does this follow suit with new seats?   hardly if there is more load im thinking!    Anyone with a suss on that.please ;)
