Title: front n/ s central locking / deadlock
Post by: hawksy on 12 April 2010, 16:56:02
for the last few days front n/s door central locking has been playing up , sometimes it locks other times it stays up , this morning i pushed the door knob down to lock and when i came back to car the deadlock on the door wouldn't let me open door after a 50 mile drive home i tried again and managed to open door,  any ideas and how do i remove door card as i have taken all visible screws out but still can't get card off. the car is a  2003 elite 2.2 dti. cheers mike

I would advise you to replace the solenoid, which is a straightforward job, as I suspect it is on its way out.  Had the same myself ;) ;)
