Could anyone explain why when i disconnect the negative from the battery the alarm sounds?? I need to disconnect the battery to carry out some mods on a CDX and de-activate the air bags.
I would have thought that when i disconnect the negative this would make the car dead, or do i need to disconnect both negative and positive to stop the alarm sounding.
Any advice please. :-/ :-/

That is the powersounder working as it should... Easiest way is:-
1) loosen the bolt on the negative terminal.
2) switch the ignition on to red lights and turn back off again.
3) remove the negative terminal within 15 seconds of turning the ignition off.
That'll stop it screaming at you :y
