Title: Reading light bulb renewal
Post by: Terbs on 20 May 2010, 13:32:20
Hi all....sorry about this !!!!!

I am servicing my vehicle (Well I opened the bonnet, closed it, sat inside with the handbook, then came here)

Both the Reading lights do not work (Courtesy lights do) so have taken off glass, but....how the heck do those bulbs come out  :-? I cannot get my fingers in at them !!! I assume they are on the same circuit as the Courtesy lights so not a fuse problem, but weird they are both out !!!!

The Reading lamps only work when ignition is live, the main interior light has a permanent live feed.

Red cable is permanent live.
Check the black cable with the ignition on.
