Not sure which version you have, but most common buttons presses are as follows, Ive also included the tuner one on case you inadvertantly change the tuner by mistake

Display Programming

There are two versions of Vauxhall vehicle displays, one with 8 Digits and one with 10 Digits. If you connect this stereo to the wrong display, code entry is possible, but the display will either freeze or dissappear once the code has been entered. To reprogram, Turn off the Radio, Press and Hold Presets "3" & "5" at the same time, whilst switching the radio back on, and this will toggle between the two display modes.

Tuner Programming

The Tuner mode can also be changed for different frequency steps. To reprogram, Turn off the Radio, Press and Hold Presets "2" & "4" at the same time, whilst switching the radio back on, and this will toggle between "STEP 9" (UK Mode) and "STEP 10" (US Mode)

 ;)

Thanks Dave,it was the 4 and 6 buttons that I needed to press in the end :-? :y
It gave me the choice of 10 digit,8+2 digit and then 8 digit (I always thought 8+2=10 but what do I know?) :-X
