Are the colour screens part number 24439378 still available.
If so where can hey be purchased from.

Not really, well not for sensible money. German eBay should get you depaired one for £300-£400.

Can't just swap, paired to rest of infotainment system, so needs depaired and repair

From memory, stealers want about £1,100 for a new one, that's if they still sell them.

Best bet is to search ebay.de for 'ncdc.'

I managed to pay £170 all in but it's a bit of a risk since they dont usually accept paypal so it's bank transfer only with no guarantees.

Use google language translator to see if it's been depaired.

They are most common on there for 'buy it now price' of 299 euros!!
