Both front & back cigarette lighter sockets have suddenly stopped providing volts. I can't find the fuse for these, any help (solution) greatly appreciated.
-
fuse 14 from memory, but will check the FAQ section.

looks like 14 or 15 but peruse the guide to confirm what you are looking for...

really appreciate that info hotel21 (my search on cigarette didn't find this!) i'll let u know how i get on

Got kids? Check for a 5pence piece or a penny in the rear lighter socket. Causes a dead short and a fuse blow..... ;)
-
My main concern if I were you would be blowing the cigarette lighter fuse running all those componets at once.Keep the electronics to a minimum and find which fuse is for your lighter and carry a couple extras and as someone mentioned earlier it would be smart to have a mechanic do a "trip check"

all sorted now thanks replaced F14.
my kids were mucking about with the rear lighter which probably caused the fuse to blow.
now wondering if i could get some sort of blanking plate to replace the rear lighter assembly?
-
On my facelift there is a blanking plug which could be glued in

Do you mean something like this?

Someone I know makes a billet aluminium version of that - rubber O-rings to insulate it and short enough not to short out at the bottom, of course.. But it's such a tight fit that no child would ever get it out ;)
(For a while I was worried if I'd be able to get it out ;D )
