Hi all i have the above set up in my new omega head unit 2015 with phone box in glove box but i have no sim card for it what sim will work ie what network and can it be pay as you go
TIA
-
Needs to be o2 or voda. I have pay and in voda in mine. Do not seperate the sim from the card it comes on, needs to be a full size sim card. I transfer calls from my mobile to the car and works fine.
-
As H21 says (twice :P), O2 or Vodafone due to being a GSM900 only transciever.

Please delete one of the posts, TB. I have finally found tunnies voda blackspot outside the M25 . . . . .

As long as it's for that head unit yes. But if your buying one may as well get the latest possible.
-
is it a cd or a dvd ????
-
Its a CD, but for pitty's sake don't be tempted to use a CDR, as parts for these are getting nigh on impossible to source.
-
was thinking genuine anyway but i need to test if the unit works first so was goin to try and get hold of disc to try 1st im just thinking maybe someone on here is from the northwest who will let me call round and try there disc 1st before i make the spend

If it plays an audio cd (proper, not cdr) in top slot, it should work. Can't remember if the GPS fix symbol comes up without the CD though

Hi all i have bought this item off the bay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380248619130&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Its a genuine disc but when i put it into the cd slot it just pops back out have you any ideas what could be the problem the disc looks in very good order no scratches
-
This navigation disc is made for a CD70 headunit, not the NCDC 2015 mate :(
-
oops back to the bay it goes
what is the code for the disc i need ??
-
They ares compatible with NCDR 1100, NCDR 1500, NCDC 2013 an 2015.
Here is an example pack of Europe but it's a bit expensive...

The major price of any satnav system is the cost of the digital map.
My NCDC map cost me around £25 from egay. Don't use CDRs in that unit, it buggers up the laser.
