Title: box swop...ecu swop?

do you swap the ecu when you swap ar25 for the ar35..
could the ecu be damaging my gearbox's...
i have stripped and checked all the pistons, thrust washers bearings, clutch plates, solenoids and oil seals.
no internal damage just mild wear and tear.
so what is it?
i live 30mile from the nearest opel garage and i dare'nt drive incase it goes pop, any help....any???? >:(

I would be suprised, the ECUs are pretty resilient.  We have only ever heard of one ECU failure - unlucky alf's 2.5TD auto
