What system and screen size are you currently operating as choices may be fairly limited ?

However, if you decided to go for an aftermarket navigation, then screen size is only limited to your budget and the sharpness of your hacksaw.

I assume you eithe have the NCDC 2013 or 2015?
It is possible to take the half height screen out (GID) and replace it with a full size colour screen (CID) but your biggest issue will be finding the screen in the first place.
I have recently done this, well when I say I...I mean TB did it for me  :D
He made it all seem very easy, but I know it's not. The screens and HU are coded together, so you couldn't simply get a new screen and put it in and it'd work, its much more involved than that.

Get your carpass, get a depaired (delivery mode) CID, then find somebody with a real tech2 who knows how to use it. For your location, that means marks dtm calibration or me ;)
