Title: year 2000 pre face lift, "cd safe" mode.

hi, i have just bought a year 2000 mv6, its a pre facelift model and the cd is in "cd safe" mode. Radio is ok though.
Any ideas?

is it a ccr2006?,if so you will need to contact dave dnd for help with re-coding it.The radio code will not get it working

2006 gives an error of CDC-SAFE

if you have the seperate changer in the boot, then probably asking for a code

Prefacelift will be ccr600 with cdc2 in boot.

Sounds like you are missing the code for the cdc2 in the boot
