Hi - with heat only to passenger side, have identified the arm has come off the back of the servo motor in the driver side footwell. Have then managed to pull the arm off the attachment above the motor.
Nothing damaged, but can't for the life of me see how to get it back on. Can anyone help?

You would be better to take the servo motor out then attach the lever and put it back.
Disengage wiring harness plug and detach, unbolt servo motor , if necessary, turn actuation of servo motor until recess is at height of bolt, separate actuation lever of servo motor from joint.

I take it you mean the upper arm connector, not the servo arm itself? If so, then it fits on in the same way. I accidentally detached mine when refitting the arm to the servo motor! You need to push the seat right back, (have a couple of bright torches handy)& lay in the footwell with your legs resting on the seat. situate the torch/s so they illuminate the upper connection area. Ease out the black centre console trim as much as possible to give you maximum room for your arm & chock it with something to keep it in place (be careful not to pull too hard or you will break it!) Now it is a matter of working your arm up into the space & getting the torchlight right so you're not blocking the light and with a fair bit of patience and manual dexterity you should be able to pop the arm back in! :y

Thanks Philrich. I did manage to get the motor out, but found that there must be something that sits in the bottom of the arm that grips the cog on the servo motor - probably fallen down into the depths of the car!. Despite pulling the centre console out as much as possible, I couldn't find where the top of the arm locates into either. I think I'm resigned to having cold air on the driver side for the rest of the winter!
