-
cheers mate i checked fuse 33 the big one so earlier opened fuse box and 14 has a seat symbol on lid but pulled it out and you were right it was blown so a trip to halfords and all good. do you know what pipe for behind radio i can get my index finger in it could it be for cooling back of stereo ??? as cant see where it goes thanks again much appreciated.
-
i think that pipe has something to do with the climate control it goes to the little vent not sure of propper name
-
its in bottom left corner and air was blowing out of it whilst fan was on it has a right angle bend int it could it go on to the suuround around radio as had that out when checking heater connections

I think you are correct.
I fitted a Blaupunkt head unit in my 1994 pre facelift and it used to get scarily hot. I fitted the same head unit in my current 2003 facelift and I can feel air movement round the edge of the double DIN adapter. Even after journeys of several hours, with the volume cranked up, it doesn't even feel warm (which is nice :y).

blimey i stand corrected what a good idea :y
