Title: inside headlamp

Morning all
I changed my main beam bulb in work last night,,pushed bulb in ok...then I gave it a little push,,[dohhh] an the chrome reflectors,seemed to pop off the one side,,,,this left the inside loose,,,,,,cant seem to get it back "on",,,,,any ideas,,,,,,or is it a new headlight,,,,,,its ok driving,,,not shaking etc,.....

should of used your sonic screwdriver ;D,
can pull back on if it just the plug for the seat on the adjuster with the bulb out and a cloth round your finger and pull it from the bulb hole back on but its fiddly. :)

as per RobG's link, the plastic adjuster is very likey to be broken. There'll be nothing left to pull back on.  ;)

Had exactly the same experience with mine last week. Using the excellent guide and with the great replacement aluminium adjusters the job is a good 'un. I was amazed at how much crud I wiped off the inside of the plastic lens and the brightwork. The only down side of the whole  experience was the awful postal delay in getting the new  bits to rural Herefordshire.
 
I was  initially unsure what the adjusters were, but if  you can see some black plastics bits that look as if they have parted company through the bulb  apperture...you need new adjusters!
When I later adjusted them on the beam setter , I found that the one that I had replaced controlled the up/ down adjustment. It was a mile high as I had put it back together.

so.... anyone has the adjusters dimension?? i need for my headlights but to order them from uk i will be paying more than 50 pounds :(

there are some on ebay metal and plasctic for the head light hope this helps

i know.. thank you for your intention but its the same user on ebay too :). its 15 pounds for one headlight, i need for both and that will be 30 pounds plus shipping to romania 10-15 pounds i end up paying as i would for a breakers headlight :(. i found someone here who could mould them for me but i need the dimmensions of the adjusters. or if someone could send me the plastic one if it was still in one piece when they removed it from headlight :)

you could always use an ally adjuster as your mould .... at £5 each it wouldn't take you longt o get your money back  ::) ::)

i don't want to sell them here.. besides omegas here aren't that popular :) so i wouldn't have whom to sell them to. i will le t the holly-days pass then probably i will order some from here  :-/
