I may just may have found the replacement for the MV6.
Without giving too much away it is a 3.2 Omega and ticks every single box.
Apart from 1 - I dont really like the colour. Would it stop anyone else buying if they didnt love the colour ?
Now should it stop me if the car is as good as described when i view it tomorrw?
Oh and the other niggle - either its wrecked or the seller has no idea of what he is selling - its nearly 4.5k less than the equivelant Roger Budden :-X :-/

wait until you see it the colour might grow on you, what colour is it

wait until you see it the colour might grow on you
It wont cos its the same colour as SWMBOS facelift CDX 0 its a deep green ( dont know exact colour)
I dont hate it i just dont particularly like it :-/

I say you can't be too choosy with a second hand car, especially if it's a bargain. VFM and condition are more important than colour and spec.
(says he who has never actually owned a car that's not blue..)

The Dark Deep Green looks good on the Omega

Thats what i have on my 2.2 :)

is it the one at Muirside, if so it looks good

I think its called Velvet green.
I usually know within a few mins if a car will be mine, just that feeling of being right. Not sure if colour conciously plays a part or not - its just about being 'right'.
Obviously in bargain basement land, beggars can't be choosers....
-
Yup, velvet green......its the colour of choice on my drive! ;D

I prefer the 'road muck black' look on my driveway ;D

If the car's that cheap Markie, why not use some of the money you saved on the cost and get it reprayed to the colour of your choice. ;)
-
I'd draw the line at Pink but other than that I couldn't care less about the colour...
-
As a family, we generally have bad luck with blue cars, normally resulting in accidents. Which doesn't bode well for tractor, though I feel I've had my fair share of bad luck with that....
Last blue car Mrs TheBoy had, despite several attempts, they couldn't get it to stay straight for any length of time after she was hit up the chuff at a roundabout (should have been written off in my book)

Considering the protective layer of dirt you like to keep on your fleet ::)
will you notice it?
Personally don't really mind the car colour
Dislike Black & White mainly

Yup i really did wash all around the dirt very very well

I don't really care for the colour.... major exception being yellow (I will never have a yellow car, with the possible exception of a Lamborghini), and I'm not too keen on white either but if it's cheap enough I can live with white.
Other than that, unless it's a car I'm spending big bucks on, I'm more than prepared to compromise on the colour.

Colour is such a personal thing, both mine and Mrs cars are green and we love it.
Many years ago bought a Triumph Spitfire in red, I loved the car but hated the colour. Sold it 3 months later purely because I hate red cars.
Let's face it, it is what hits you first about any car, the engine size or trim level could be fantastic but if the colour is wrong I would not buy it.
Once bitten twice shy and all that.

none of my family like green cars, and before i bought the elite, we ALL had green cars!! (3 still remain!)
If you like the car when you drive it, you wont care about the colour unless it was enough to even put you off testdriving it!!
i believe it could be Krypton Green if its the same shade as Tunnies (and my GLS)
I was really after black for my elite, settled for Navy blue, and having had a good drive of mine down the motorways yesterday believe me the colour doesnt matter to me one bit, i love my car!
