I have 6 disc Blaupunkt CD changer in my Elite. It will play all cds 1 through to 6 with the car stationary. As soon as I drive over bumps or rough road surface the disk jumps (or at least the laser reader does). Is there a fix or repair kit or failing that a direct swap for the whole unit available and if so from where?

Make sure you are using clean, non scratched , genuine (not recordable) discs, and have tried a laser lens cleaner inside.
If you have reached this stage already, then the laser has gone and will require replacement. Blaupunkt have recently been taken over and spares are a nightmare at the moment, but don`t expect any change from around £150 to have a laser fitted and calibrated.
If you go down the replacement route, beware, there are many versions of CDC2, and they are not all cross compatable with each other, so important to ensure that the ten digit number on the label, starting with a 7xxxxxxxxx is exactly the same on the uit you are looking at exchanging. A single digit difference may mean it won`t work.
