if i buy a unpaired 2013 can i use it with my gid display i have or will i need to buy an unpaired gid.will the 2013 be of any use if its not been depaired.asking because so far im finding it hard to get a paired radio and gid .help appreciated

As I understand it, both units, if not already paired with each other, require to be unpaired into delivery mode than paired together in the car, if that makes sense.
If the display is paired to a unit which is then removed then, when a replacement unit is inserted the display will not recognise the new unit....

the old headunit ive got is dead basically so i cant get it depaired but ive found a headunit for sale which hasnt been depaired either so if i buy the headunit can it be used or is it useless. i now they should be paired but is their a way around it to get them working together using tech 2. ive been offered an unpaired gid so is it worth me buying that to get it working with the headunit i,ve found.

Both units need to be unpaired - Display and GID then be paired together and the screen programmed with engine, wheel size etc. When you say the headunit is dead do you mean completely dead? There is a fuse on the back of the unit.

checked fuse and wiring to make sure there is power their but the unit is dead. :(

If you get hold of another NCDC2013 and if the front Bezel is fully intact and in good condition on yours would you consider selling it for spares? I've got a 2013 to fit in my DTi here but the Bezel is broken.

yeah i would sell it for spares .but excuse me for being dumb whats the front bezel. :-[

The plastic facia on the front (the bit the buttons are attached too), they often break when being removed from the car.
