Title: glove box cd unit

Hi just had battery changed and put code in for radio and working, but try to play a cd and it says on display no disc, but there is three in, have injected the cartridge and put back in but still says no disc,,, was working before battery was changed.. any one know why its doing it thanks..

cd changer (if cdc2 etc) can have its own code, as well as the head unit code

also, Omega's never had a Glove Box CD Changer, they had Telematics in the facelift, but no music cd changer.....

no its in  glove box, its a philips TA no.:09134884
type cdc3 W1G, and its 4disc not 3,,, and it was bolted in the glove box with case around it. has sticker on it saying 1994, but no code on it??
not got car at mo as wife gone out in it tonight and will not be back till monday, head is tape player with auto reverse think its a 900 Philips.

Sounds like its out of a Vectra.

Its a CDC3, and sounds like its knackered if it says No Disc. These are easily knackered by playing CDRs, esp cheap, nasty ones.

Sounds remarkably like someone has ripped a CCR600, CDC3 and TID out of a Vectra B and wedged it in an Omega, Vectra probably scrapped due to rust.

is there a better type that can put in??? if is out of a vetra been put in nice, it fits in nice and has cd slots for spare cds on top and the suede matches the glove box...
