just got a 2000 facelift model with NCDC 2013 fitted.  If the battery is disconnected do you need codes to get it working again. Previous owner did not know what i was talking about when iasked if he had the CD/radio codes. also cant see a procedure in the manual so thinking there are possibly no codes for these models ?

anyone know for sure ?   regards, Big Al ::) ::)

Whenever I've disconnectd my battery everything has worked instantly. I "think" you only need the codes if/when you depair/remove either item ... its all something to do with canbus but I don't know ... TB or DaveDND will/can explain I expect !!

You can disconnect your battery to your hearts content - the security on those works by keeping all parts of the system together, rather than checking for power removal.
