Looking at previous for above.Mine seem to be manual? Is it possible the adjusters can snap in these.Mine are far too low.Turned for ages but no movement.
-
should hear motors moving if doing it with engine off, if not check fuse.
-
yes, self levelling, and aim are 2 very different things, yes they snap.
(and no, you wont hear a motor for those :-X)
does the reflector rattle round the lens? if so, you need new adjusters - see sticky in parts for sale.

Check to make sure your Adjuster aren't US!
Common issue on older Migs.
Plenty of posts on the Forum for 'how to fix'
I have had the same, you can replace the bulbs, try Osram Nightbreakers £30 approx, I fitted 'Halfords Brilliance' (£20 by-one-get-one-free) makes a huge difference. :y :y

Adjusters must be knackered.Already fitted nightbreaker plus.Probably see the difference when the adjusters are sorted out. Thanks again.

As a temp fix, I took off the grill and lowered the bumper.
Then unscrewed the lower bolt supporting the Headlights and fitted a 3mm rubber washer behind the bracket to lift the lights up slightly - made big difference - and it passed the MOT!
But - Main Beam interfered with low flying aircraft ;D;D
Since replaing the adjusters, took washers out - all back to near normal :y

Do you need 2 per headlight.Side to side and up and down?

It's just the up/down that fail so a pair will do both headlights. :y :y :y
