Title: Replacement laser for 4-disc changer

I remember seeing a thread a few weeks back with a link to replacement lasers being sold (i think) on german ebay, but I'll be buggered if i can find it now...

1. does anyone have the link saved anywhere?

2. can someone confirm whether these lasers are definitely for the 4-disc changer, rather than the single-slot cd.

For ref, my unit is an NCDC2013.

Dave DND will just tell you that Philips ceased trading over ten years ago and genuine parts have long since dried up.

There may indeed be some cheap pattern parts knocking around, but we wouldn`t ever use them.

I got this guy to do mine and a good job he made too
He changed the sat nav laser and cleaned /serviced the music section 210 he charged me and the unit is performing brill the music is clearer and more enjoyable to listen to

Thats the website he specialises in the NCDC2013/15 says hes only one can repair them i didnt even depair it he said dont bother about that

I would contact Gerner Electronics (The German Supplier) directly and just ask. The guy was very responsive to questions when I bought mine. email address is lasertrader@t-online.de

Cheers Pat.  I did contact him and I got a responce earlier today.  He says the laser is only for the single slot and not for the changer..... Doh!!  :'(

Just seen this, yes, nav slot only, as recommended to me by the master. Better late than never  :-/.  ;D

Yes £210 plus 6month garantee i wouldnt have a cat in hells chance of doing work like that so £210 to me was ok
