Title: bose upgrade

hi all, is it much of a job to upgrade the ice in a 2.2 cd to a bose system, my head unit is a 2005.

fairly major, new headunit either 2006 enabled Bose or a NCDC2013/2015, entire wiring loom for all speakers need to be replaced, AMP, parcel shelf upgrade with speakers, shelf...

Its a bit more challenging, as there is no wiring from HU to kick panel in your car. The HU has to be replaced as tunnie says. Once you have these 2 items in place, then you just need a 'bose kit' for saloon/estate (as appropriate), which many of the breakers here sell.

Yes been there with Janes CD estate! Well worth it in the end though, if you are OK using a soldering iron and have some patience it isn't too bad.

sounds like to much work for me, think i will stick with what i have, thanks for the replys every one.
