Title: boot lock

hi all
got a problem with the mv6 bootlock  :( the problem being is that it wont open or lock with the central locking , anything i can look at ?  or what do i have to change ?

What position is the lock in? Vertical or horizontal, one way locks & un-locks with the central locking, the other stays locked irrespective of the central locking. Can't remember which way is which though  :-/ ;)

trouble is, the locks suffer the same fault as the driver's door lock ........ they never get used & seize up. You might need a bit of lub in there.  ;) ;)

it was key position  :-[ 
for peoples info the lock should be in the horizontal position for the central locking to work not vertical  :y

pity i had already stripped boot lining out  :D
all i have to do now is my mates fuel pump, crank sensor, waiting for info on fuel pump post  :y

you might have saved yourself the effort of removing the lining from the boot lid.  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Did you never wonder why there were 2 positions for the lock?  ::) ;)
