Title: Bose - again
Post by: albitz on 06 June 2011, 20:44:06
Three wires which come from the multiplug at the rear of the headunit-
Black -labelled as mute on the diagram
Blue labelled as TL+ on the fdiagram
Brown - labelled as TL- on the diagram
They dont go to the main Bose loom but go into the main loom towards the n/s of the car. They have been chopped when I was removing some other component. Any chance they might be connected the the lack of any sound from the system ?
Tia.

suspect they went to prewiring for phone.

No, wont affect it, unless the mute is shorting down, thus giving 'External Audio' on CID

Know which fuse ?
I would have thought it would maybe be easier to try "an other " amp plugged into my headunit rather than swap headunits over ?.......if the amp is from an estate that is ? :-/ ;)
