i just replaced all the batteries on boat, it has 3 massooove ones, one per engine and one domestic, it has a built in charger that in the past ive always just left charging, but with new batteries is it better to run the domestic one down, then recharge? i think it makes ure the engine ones are charged then switches to charging the domestic.
engines do have alternators.
thanks

Unlike domestic rechargeable batteries that have a memory retention and require discharging every now and then, lead acid / gel based batteries tend to function better over time if the full charge is maintained in them.
