I have removed the park pilot system from my breaker, as shown here...
http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1309987098
The system seems pretty much self contained with the exception of the following...
A red wire from the main loom of the park pilot connects onto a black/white wire in the loom by the NSR light cluster. Is this the feed to the reversing light that turns the system on when reverse gear is selected?
There is a 2-pin plug in the park pilot, the loom that connects to this contains a brown wire (earth?) and a brown wire with red tracer??? Which direction does this loom run and where does it terminate? Is it going to an external speaker that emits the warning tone?
I would like to be able to remove this completely so that the buyer gets the complete system. The next question is, is it easy to install into another omega? and does it require any tech2 work?
TIA :y

Yes
Yes - Up the C pillar I believe, bugger to get the speaker out.
Yes - all self contained, just need to obtain the whole wiring loom.

The speaker should become visible if you remove the n/s C pillar trim - iirc.
If you cant find it, I have one here you can have to complete the setup.
Edit - just remembered its an estate - so Ihave no idea where the speaker is. ::) ;D

Fraid so... Sounds like its gonna be a game of 'follow the wiring loom' then. I love it!! ;D
