Title: alternator how to remove off 2.2 dti cdx 2003 es

hi i am new to this so could u help at all i have  2003 2.2 diesel cdx estate and the alternator light is on all connection seem ok bt light has flickered and now is staying on i  would like to take the alternator off bt cannot get the drive belt tensioner to slacken belt any help wud be grt thanks :)

Hi
You  should be able to get to the  drive belt tensioner bolt with everything in place. If more room is required the inter cooler is easy to remove/ replace and the radiator comes out quickly once drained.

thanks nt sure now as a friend said u shud be able to move tensioner to take belt off i can get to tensioner nt sure does this need to removed r how do u slacken the tensioner to get drive belt off so i can take alternator off and the gargae if sent said there are 2 types hmm now im lost lol any help wud be grt 1 to take belt off and how much do i take car apart to get alternator off

Like a previous poster said. If you need more space, remove the intercooler and radiator.  :y
