Title: Parrot Hands Free

I have just aquired a parrot Hands free Kit CK3100 and i was wondering if it will be able to fit with my car without to much hassle??

I have the Bose sound system with a cassete player and CD changer on a facelift Elite :y

After a brief search using Google I think the Parrot CK3100 is probably outputting a 'line out' signal that can be fed into the telephone input on a Vauxhall head unit without having to touch the speaker wiring so being Bose is irrelevant.

I suspect you should be able to buy an Autoleads adapter that connects to a plug that Vauxhall have thoughtfully provided up behind the glove box.

The Autoleads adapter will take audio and mute signals and feed them into the head unit.

Looks as though the Autoleads SOT-109 is probably the correct part. (£9.99 from Amazon)

After that you need to use the correct mute lead from the Parrot because there are three and one of them is potentially capable of zapping the mute input on the HU. http://www.expansys.com/ft.aspx?k=30543

You just need the parrot to car cable on a facelift, dunno about pre/mini.
Also check that your trafficmaster is fully wired ( all 8 wires) or it won't pass phone audio to the head unit.
Mute signal from the 3000 works without any extra bits on my bose equipped ccr2006 so I would have thought a 3100 would be the same.

Where would i find the Tel input wiring plug?
Also how do i check traffic Master wiring

Have the exact system working in my 1998 Elite with Bose.

Not really sure how the auto electrician got it working,but can confirm it does work and has been with good results for the last 2 years....so you should be fine if you get somebody who understands car electrics.

The input plug is taped to the top of a cable tray above / behind the glove box.

I have done this - although with a mini facelift car. I just connected the Parrot output to the disconnected traffic master connection and paralleled the mute connection.

Worked a treat
