Title: Omega z22xe auto transmission error codes???

Hi
I have a wierd problem with my Auto transmission- will drive as it should with exception that it will not engage 1-st gear in drive mode. If manually selected it will drive beautifully in first. Additionally when you start moving it will sort of drag fot a tenth of a second. In Drive mode it starts from second gear straight away. Oil level is OK.

I had error codes read and here what it shows:

P1625 Controller                                         Present
         -002 voltage switch signal too low.

P1781 CAN receive                                      NOT
         -000 error                                        Present

Any ideas to what should I check first? Information on these codes is quite limited.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Check the connector on the top side of the sump.

Thank you - will do tomorrow. as car at the moment is with timing belt removed.
